Kaneko Laboratory was established in April 2012. Kaneko Lab. explores a new generation network architecture through application oriented networking.
Kunitake Kaneko received the M.S. degree from the Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, and the Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University and Director of Research Institute for Digital Media and Content in Keio University. He has also contributed to the global film industry for over 15 years as one of the three testing centers for compliance testing of Digital Cinema Initiatives. His main research field is network architecture, and he is currently working on the design of data networking system for future global information and knowledge sharing mechanism. He is a member of IEEE, IEICE, IPSJ, and SMPTE.
